natalia came across this thought..
is it illegal to take drugs?
i mean the term illicit drugs says it's obviously illegal.
but if it was illegal, why does it teach me that there are some locations in Australia and across the globe that has this safe-injecting rooms? safe-injecting means you can inject drugs safely in these rooms. i understand that this is a harm minimising approach taken. but if drugs were illegal, den wont police camps outside such place and catch whoever who uses the rooms? what if on the streets, someone was seen using drugs but is not harming anyone. should a police still catch the person even though he's in the working class and admitted that he's used drugs? what if they were trying to kick the habit but it's still gotta go slow to cut down? but on their progress, they get nabbed. is it still their fault.
who's stand will you take?
who then has the right to make the decision?
